if I bought the DR650, will it operate with just the front camera?

In other words, I don't want the rear camera plugged in so it would work like a DR600?

Or does it only work with the rear camera plugged in?

I currently have a DR600 and the WiFi is sooo bad, but I hear the 650 has better wifi.

Yes, just disconnect it and the playback video will tell you the second camera is OFF instead of HD

Will the 650 fit into my existing 600 mount and use same power supply?

If so, I'll put the 600 in the wife's car with the 650 mounting kit and straight swap mine.
