I bought a fake 047 from amazon, but thanks to this site I'm shipping them back to them tomorrow!

Does amazon have any real 027 available? I couldn't find any!

With that said... I love how not one camera has an excellent rating! Unlike it shill/paid reviews on amazon. U give honest reviews!

I may just buy a 027 bc they are so cheap but, I want the best. On my radar are, finevu500, blackvue500 (if reports are good), itronics 100.

But what do u think about the following? I keep going back a forth on features, but the least important are size and parking mode.

Garmin gdr35' dual camera from a name brand!

Lukas 7300

Papago p3.

Gopro hero 3 (it now has looping overwrite and Dcc power)

IPhone 4S/iPod touch 5th gen/ iPad mini. I have an i5, so I would use a dedicated i4s!

What else should I be looking? I have been reading all the threads on this forum. This site has become my homepage!

Hi lkwan78,

I haven't seen any real DVR-027 on Amazon yet, but I haven't searched extensively.

You have a large list of decent cameras to choose from. If you don't care about size or parking mode, there are many options available:

Finevu CR-500HD - likely the best picture quality but expensive

Blackvue DR500GW-HD - WIFI and good all around camera but need to cross fingers on reliability

Itronics ITB-100HD - Best bang for your buck for a higher end camera given picture quality, GPS, size and reliability

Garmin GDR35D - Not sure where the dual camera is for sale outside of Taiwan, I will comment more about it in your other thread

Lukas LK-7300G - Get this camera if you are looking for a good quality 1080p video with a separate DVR unit from camera. Expensive though

Papago P3 - Has good video quality, the lane departure / collision avoidance feature is a gimmick. Expensive and large.

Gopro Hero 3 - Many fans of this camera but it is not discrete (will attract thieves). Also expensive and night quality is not that great.

IPhone 4S/iPod touch 5th gen/ iPad mini - Not as convenient as a dedicated dash cam (SD card full issues, no loop recording). A cheap option if you have one lying around. Most iPhone dash cam apps are not that good but Witness Driving has some positive reviews. Read this thread for more info on using your phone as a dash cam

There is no perfect camera and everyone has different requirements. Decide what is important for you, than choose a camera that meets most of your criteria.
