Fresh air, open lands... can't get much better than this
Beautiful countryFresh air, open lands... can't get much better than this
That might not be too bad. It is if we use all the coal that there will be total disaster since there is still a huge amount of coal available.Personally i think that humankind will use every drop of oil that is in the ground, i don't know does it matter will we use it fast or slow.
https://www.platts.com/latest-news/...l-production-surges-to-highest-total-10087635Weekly US coal production surges to highest total in three months
US coal production totaled an estimated 15.6 million st in the week ended December 2, up 11.6% from the prior week and up 8.8% from the year-ago week, US Energy Information Administration data showed Thursday.

If you ran them in reverse then you would be blowing the worlds winds in the wrong direction around their circulations, sounds a bit dangerous! The world should buy Danish wind turbines, then on days with no wind and smog they can use the wind turbines as big fans to blow away the smog, and then run them on nuclear power.
Californians could probably now use to seed the wind off the big "fans" with tiny water droplets, cuz i am hearing that it could go very bad over there with wild fires.
Fusion power is still not expected until 2040, not sure you want it since it will put all your wind power companies out of business and that is where a lot of Denmark's wealth comes from!O no we badly need those fusion reactors to come about, cuz until then we are screwed if the wind die down and we will have to crank up our old powerplants.
They must know something i dont when they say we will be 100% renewable energy by 2050 or whatever it is, to me atm that can only happen if the wind always blow, or they find some way to store wind energy for non windy days.
You could go molten salt like some solar plants do for generating power at night, but with wind i think the loss factor will be too great having to melt salt.
Actually most ways i can think of with my little brain are unsustainable / unfeasible.
And i am not getting it, cuz here now a good part of our waste are burned to generate heat / power and to reduce its physical size to something a little country like us can handle.
This is the plant north of Aarhus that burn most if not all waste fron that area of the #2 largest town here.

A but further out are studstrups værket, but thats a pure coal burner, generating power and heating ( steam ) for Aarhus
