I just started using my Xiaomi Yi and love it. Have been successful with scripts and really getting to see the potential of this rather cheap camera.

My question - Is there a software similar to GoPro's Importer that can download and index the files on a Xiaomi Yi SD Card onto our PC's? For those unfamiliar, it indexes files in subfolders based on date and if it was a timelapse/burst ... GoPro's software works - sort of. MY ISSUE is that it does not automatically download the RAW files...

Solutions ( besides manually downloading RAW files ) ?

While it's designed for photographers and still images Downloader Pro ( http://www.breezesys.com/Downloader/index.htm ) may work for you. In addition to photography I use it for non-dash cam video downloading as well. I see no reason it won't work for dash cam videos.

Awesome! Does anyone know of any freeware alternatives?

I have been using the free version of Zoner Photo Studio for a while. By default, it imports into folders for date. I also has drop-downs in the importer for the destination and remembers various sources, so I can easily import stuff from different cameras into their respective folders. I can't remember if it pulls in the RAW files, but it definitely pulls in DNG files when I convert them.

I don't use the extras, but it's nice that you can right-click as say open-with to say edit in Photoshop. It also catalogs by years which can be handy sometimes.

I did check today and Zoner will pull in the RAW files no problem.
