(SOLVED) A129 Pro Duo Rear Cam black screen

Problem solved: It was just me being a gigantic moron. I hadn't removed the lens protector plastic. I don't know how I didn't notice but well, here we are.
It is working as intended now.

Hello.

I have a Viofo A129 Pro Duo (bought April 29th 2021) and I have had the front camera installed for a while now. It works perfectly.
Today though, I tried to install the rear camera but all I get is a black screen.

So it does register that the camera is connected there's just no picture.

Is it the cable that is faulty or perhaps the rear camera? Or is it user error?

I've tried formatting SD-card directly from the camera.
SD-card is a Transcend 300S SDXC 128GB UHS-I U3 V30 Class10.

Camera is powered with the Viofo 12V USB adapter. It is not hardwired.

How do I troubleshoot from here?
