I wanted to see what pics would yield from the video as far as plates. Very nice. Not always a guarantee, but at 1080p at least you have more chances per frame to get what you need.

Yes, TioTech and Shadow tech ( Seezeus ) dashcams based on NT96650 + AR0330 has been proven good value for money.

Could you confirm which exact TioTech dash cam you have. I guess it is not a DOD, because if DOD, then it would show logo before date / time.

I assume it's the 300w. I got it from wrightwood and they call it WS300w.

All original DOD has "DOD" logo ( words ) , yours does not have it. Also all dod products has their logo / model nubmer silk-printed on dashcam body.
Anyway, it does not matter if yoru is not branded DOD, - if its from good factory with good quality, - this is most important !
