I now own 2x A129 Duos.
1x in a vehicle with tint.
1x in another vehicle without.
Thus far, both cameras appear to be rock solid. Both running Sandisk A2 Extreme. (256 in Tinted and 128 in Non Tinted). Parking mode works without fail.
One with tint now has a few months of ownership. I can say the tint definitely darkens the picture, with the drawback being less light at night (as tint is intended to do in general).
One without tint does very well now that I have a point of comparison. I run the CPL filter on the front camera, which does create a bit of a Circular ring effect at night. With the benefit being less glare.
I will say the one drawback on both cameras is the Viofo Software is a tad buggy. To view videos via Wifi, you pause the camera. However, the first try on accessing videos almost always results in an error on both cameras. Second attempt is mostly successful.
Overall, I'd recommend this camera to friends and family. Which is where the second camera comes in (family member).
