Sound is muffled, anyone find a fix

My next step is to find a fix for the sound which is overwhelmingly loud and muffled. Has anyone found a fix yet? I am going to try covering the mic with some

An anti-wind mask should work

LOL, I did find a fix. I placed a small felt pad that has adhesive on one side. This pad you will find in any hardware and can be used to place under a coaster so it does not scratch a table top.
