Speed shown is now always 0 MPH

Half way through a trip into town and back, the videos stopped recording any speed other than 0 MPH.

I guess that is a GPS problem. Has anyone had the same problem? How did you fix it?
 
Sounds like you need a new GPS module. Contact your original seller.
 
It turns out to be an intermittent problem. Sometimes it records the actual speed, at other times it records 0 mph. Where is the best place to locate the GPS unit on a motorcycle?

somewhere with line of sight ideally, where do you have it mounted now?

what options are available (photos of the bike would help)?
 
It was stuck on the right hand side of my battery, underneath the charge tank. I have now moved the GPS unit to the top of my tail tidy, to see if that is better. If not, the final option is on top of the top box.

There is a big battery where an ICE engine would be. I had stuck the GPS unit on the far side.

I fixed the problem by putting the GPS unit on the tail tidy.
