Any ideas what causes playback at lightning speed........10 mile journey played back in less than a minute

If you have recorded in time lapse mode.
1: if that's a option for regular recording on that camera
2: if it is wired wrong and have been recording in parking mode time lapse.
3: something with the playback software.

It's wired correct, it's not hard wired. The playback software is okay So I will check the time lapse mode...Thanks

I have never heard of a dashcam with a time lapse mode for regular driving, but you never know, engineers some times get the most crazy ideas.

Hi Albertz11,

Sounds to me like you have Time Lapse turned on. Time Lapse recording is a technique whereby the frequency at which file frames are captured (frame rate) is lower than that used when playing back the recording. Please note that when Time Lapse is turned On, Recording History will be turned Off

To turn Time Lapse off:
1) Go into 'Settings'
2) Go into 'Video Settings'
3) Go into 'Time Lapse', choose 'Off'.

Regards,
