Start Selling A139

A passenger may be downloading a video, or you might have made a setup with a mobile router and something that downloads videos remotely.

Has anyone in the UK ordered the A139 from aliexpress or the viofo website? I am wondering what duties might be payable (if any). Apparently digital cameras are not subject to import duty but I think it depends a lot on what it gets classed as.

I am still waiting on amazon UK to start stocking them (much easier for returns) but I did pre-order a hardwire kit as they are small value and typically not something that gets returned anyway

The Viofo website includes taxes, shouldn't be anything to worry about there.

Don't know about Aliexpress, since the start of the year and full Brexit the rules have changed, I wouldn't be too surprised if it didn't arrive! You do have to pay VAT and import tax on cameras, but it should now be the sender that pays. I think an A139 maybe above the thresholds where you might still have ultimate responsibility though... Should work out at around 23%.

I bought an A129 from Aliexpress about a year ago. I don't remember paying any duties. As Nigel says, things may have changed with Brexit etc

Most of them went to the US I think, I have seen a few driving round in the UK near me, I live quite close to some specialist delorean repair companies and there have been even more pop in the UK over the last 20 or so years
 
Seem like you will soon be able to buy the updated truck version of the deloran :)
 
USA Amazon to UK for A139 is $124.76 shipping + taxes.
I got a laptop from there $1399.99 and was only $18.49 3 day shipping and taxes.

Neither sell Viofo A139.

It's all good.
 
Imports from USA to UK have been expensive years way before trump/boris.

I tend to check the viofo site daily now so I will post in this thread if I spot any news or updates regarding the A139
