Starts recording when connected to power cable

Is there a way to disable that? I do not like recording of the insides of my glove box each time i start my car... (yes, it's in there, to be fully charged when i take it out on the walk..)

i disabled "power on recording" via the gui, but that referrs to "power on via push button" i guess.

BTW: i have thrown in a mini-USB socket, there is plenty of room for that and it's a lot more convenient that this proprietary lead.
