Step by step guide to update SW Via Xiaomi YI iPhone Apps

Personally speaking,it is simple way to update SW via APP if Iphone User.

Now,we would like to teach you to update its SW via APP step by step;

1,download its app here:

2,If your app remind you these chinese words for first time,it means that you need to update its SW to your cellphone ;
"相机固件更新-------------当前相机固件版本过低，请更新。在系统设匿中连接其他Wi-Fi网络后，固件包会自动下载，您也可以在首页-设置-固件版本中手动下载或査看下载进度。"
(It saying that your cam firmware version is currently too low, please update. and please sure your camera and cellphone has enough battery to support updating!
After connecting to your local Wi-Fi network or 4G network,this newest firmware will automatically download the package to your cellphone untill 100% download
And make sure you plug one memory card into camera already,and this memory card should be 16G or above!

3,Power on camera,and press its WIFI button to activate its wifi connection function;

4,Find this SSID YDXJ_*********,and input code 1234567890 to pair camera in your iphone WLAN setting :

5,Open APP,and press this "Camera" icon to add camera;

6,There is one Chinese indicator Pop up,and it means that your Camera SW too low,and need to update now:

7,Press Next,and it boom out the other one indicator,it means that its battery status is too low:
Its battery indicator reads to be 26% only,and its power indicator lights Red in my photo;

8,So,we have to stop ,and take this camera for charging;

9,After about 1--2 hours charging,we power on camera again,and find its power indicator light blue,it means that is battery is enough now!

10, Repeat step 4--step6,and camera will update its SW package to camera automatically;

11,SW Package updating.............7.7%................99.56%...............100%,please be patient!

12,Do not touch anything,camera will reboot automatically,and it keep sounding DI DI DI during SW updating,and camera power off automatically when finished;

13,Power on camera,and we can recheck its SW vision in its Setting menu:
This 1.0.9 Vision is the newest vision for IOS now!

Excellent. I just got my Xiaomi Yi today, and I was not sure why I kept getting a pop up error after connecting the camera. Now I know it 's because the firmware was out of date. I was able to successfully update it via the iOS App.

I really hope they release an iOS update and add a setting to change the languish to english.
