Nothing wrong with chatting, but that should be done in a separate thread. I've stopped reading this one as I'm sure others have since its gone off topic. Either a mod needs to clean up this thread by throwing the chatter into its own thread,or a new one needs to be started to keep on topic.

a new one would probably be more useful once we release as this one is too full of off topic stuff, if you don't want to have to try digging through details to find out when that is you can register on our website as we'll be sending an email out once released, no spamming, will just be a notification of availability for anyone that has entered their details, at that point you should find fresh info here

I expect there will be a DC launched thread soon, and it will grow fast with user experience and potential user questions.
And there should be a higher chance that thread would stay on topic as the wait are over and its down to business.

It would be nice if this forum some how supported a feature like only display posts with video in a thread, cuz o bet in this thread at least what the people wanted the most is to see some of the beta video.
Or if we could tag out posts OT so you could have then filtered out upon entering a thread.
Myself i dont mind a little OT, but that's maybe due to me spending far too many hours here every day.

Hey man, it wasn't me!! 😀 I was only replying to @jokin and @TomZweifel who were talking about buffered parking mode, so I asked what the current draw is on the SG9663DC to see if it can run off a power bank. That's still on topic, isn't it? 😛

I think that's still related when you're talking dual channel and parking mode actually, as would be powering cameras from power banks, some of the other stuff that has been covered in this thread though, that's another matter ...

I'm sure once the camera is available and in the hands of end users some relevant on topic threads will happen so no biggie

Aluminum will turn white sauce green. The free aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer's.
My pans are stainless. Getting an aluminum pan with a great non-stick coating should mean the aluminum never gets into contact with the food so it is safe.
