Oh boy, here we go again with the leap year jokes :rolleyes::rolleyes: you guys sound like you're getting near the end of your ropes :D

It sounds like street guardian products have a solid warranty.

If lesser brands had a 1 year warranty for a product bought on February 29 I wonder if that warranty would be good until the next February 29...

well they'd probably offer a 365 day warranty so that you're good through to March 1st the following year ;) the reality is though there's a lot of product out there that don't even do 1 year warranty properly, in our market some of the biggest names that sell for double what our products do don't even have good warranty support, people can go without their cameras for 8 to 10 weeks while it does a return trip to Korea to be repaired, the retailer generally gets stuck in the middle with their hands tied, an angry customer (rightfully so) and nothing they can do

sounds like blackspew here. the exact reason i went to streetguardian, well quality of course as well, far better than anything else ive seen.

I always say that a warranty is only as good as it's service, and there's no besting SG when it comes to that (y) I've read some sad tales of Blackview's poor service over time which makes no sense to me as they can certainly afford to do much better

My SG9663DC sample (non production version) captured the Wildfire in Voltaire Canyon off Curry St. in Carson City Nevada yesterday. (just behind Casino Fandango)
You'll see a jet drop red flame retardant as I'm on the way to the UPS store. (jump to 2m 10s)
It's a bit far away but I thought I'd still share what I had.

He could answer that question but then Jokiin would have to kill him.

hows this schedule hanging??

Better than at HPI where i have their new scaler on preorder, in the spring it was announced " ready before summer,,,,,,,,,, 2017 "
It is now expected on the shelves at modelsport on September 18,,,,, and that's no longer summer as far as i know.

I can understand things can get messed up and have to be pushed back, but what i dont like is HPI clamming up and saying nothing but new dates that slide again and again.

When i ordered the car it was supposed to ship mid July

Thats a brand that make RC cars and so on, they do make some nice things alright, but they never had any clue as to how to launch things in a orderly fashion.

https://www.hpiracing.com/

this is the car i have on order.

Do note that when the guy start to talk about its features he first point to the motor and then to the steering servo and then say, forward mounted motor and speedo,,,, but that's not the speedo ( ESC ) that's the steering servo.
So already there that video should have been a retake, and then at the end the insult ( ready for summer 2017 )

Many people dont appreciate how difficult it is to stay on target.
