Stronger adhesive for rear camera?

Can you recommend a stronger adhesive to mount the rear camera? I've gone through 3 strips of the black sticky 3M tape that comes with the camera. Camera is mounted to the roof on a plastic piece of trim. I've tried cleaning with alcohol and pressing on the mount for 2 minutes then letting it sit for 24 hours before mounting the camera. I need stronger tape or bolting the mount through the trim.

the adhesive is only suitable for mounting on glass, it's not suitable for mounting on plastic (as you have found out), might be better to use Dual Lock tape to mount to plastic

It was already said, the included 3M VHB is only suitable for smooth flat glass.
