My almost 3 year old DDPai M6+ is slowly dying. As posted elsewhere on this site, it's basically failing bit by bit, slow data transfer to the phone app and now the GPS won't activate/lock at all. It did cop two ridiculously hot Australian summer days, which didn't help matters, but the main issues (along with firmware download problems) had begun occurring before that.
So.. I want something equivalent in functionality but with the a capacitor instead of a battery. Not a fan of separate GPS modules as that just seems fiddly and an additional point of potential failure to me. iOS app isn't essential, but seems preferable to fiddling with the cam itself and not fussed with looks too much vs actual image quality.
I've been doing a lot of research both on this site and YouTube but there doesn't appear to be good value stand out with the features above like the M6+ was back in its time.
Happy to be set straight on that via your suggestions.
