Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Just recently bought a Mobius to use as a dash cam. I did all the nessasery config stuff but on recording my first video I found that the video stutters, misses frames and pixelates and is very unusable indeed.

The disc I am using is a Sandisk Ultra 32gb Micro DSHCI and has a UHS speed class mark of 1.

Bit of a newbie on these cards but is this why it's not recording right onto the card? What card should I be using in this device.

Loads of thanks in advance.

Lee

card should be fine

are you copying the files locally to your PC before viewing?

what program are you using for playback?

Thanks for the reply.

I've viewed them by copying to the pc and also straight from the card.

I was viewing them using VLC Media Player.

tried a different player?

what spec is your PC and video card?

hardware acceleration on or off?

I've just tried playing the file on another pc and using windows media layer and it works fine. I'll probably have to look at my pc and see why it's not playing the file properly. Although I use the pc alot for music editing and logo design and there's never really many problems with it then.

Many thanks, now I know it's not the card or the camera I can rest easy and look at the pc.:)

Dam, can you hear anything? If so, it could be the lense's ribbon that is lose.

Hope it is the SD card.

Your PC is the problem. That Mobius is a very nice camera.
