I recently bought a Rexing V1 dashcam as a replacement for a G1W cam. I tried using the G1W's suction cup mount, but the tab-slot mount doesn't fit well into the Rexing's T-slot mounting face. I need a suction cup mount because it will be used between several different vehicles (my work truck and personal car), the adhesive mount isn't a good idea, I would have to buy extra mount plates, and don't want adhesive on the glass. The tractor-trailer vibrates and needs a good snug fit with the Rexing T-slot mounting point. I have looked at a lot of different ball+socket suction cup mounts, having trouble finding one with the rectangular shape which fits this mounting face.

I used a magnetic ball mount on a cam with a similar body.

It was firm enough for the cam to not shake, easy to take on and off, but if you pushed buttons on the cam while it was mounted, the cam would shift a little.
(I usually don't push any buttons on my cams when moving, anyway)

You can find these on amazon for $7 or so, up. Yes, the ball is an adhesive mount. It's not a big deal to remove the ball, replace the adhesive tape.
Buy a few of the inexpensive mounts and just move the cam to the other vehicle.
