Switchover time.

How long does it normally take to change over from Parking to Normal mode?
My 792 Wi-Fi Pro, is connected to my car with a hard wired Smart Box Cable.
My understanding is that as soon as the ignition is switched on, it should change to Normal recording mode. In reality, I can start my car, get my glasses and seatbelt on, then set off. Maybe a minute later it starts continuous recording.
This means that I can drive for about 1/2 a mile with no GPS co-ordinates or speed record.
Does everyone get this or is it only me?

I don't know how well Mivue's newer cams have taken off here, there doesn't seem to be much talk of them on this forum. I have 2 older generation mios but I don't use "parking mode" as such, I just leave them plugged in as normal as my 12v port is permanent live (I'm only ever away from the car for half an hour in this case).

I'd recommend reading through whatever booklets came with the cam, as from what I've found, there's very little info online
