NOTE: All Items Retail Version, (not prototype / pre-production)

A329S 3CH (2025) four available remote cameras;
1.) Rear
2.) Waterproof Rear
3.) IR Interior
4.) Telephoto

I checked A329S remote camera compatibility with T340 & T330, (both camera ports).
RESULTS:
1.) Rear = YES
2.) Waterproof Rear = YES
3.) IR Interior = NO
4.) Telephoto = NO

I’m thinking this might be fixed when VIOFO publish 1st Official / Public Firmware on VIOFO WEBSITE

Q: Why is this important?
A: Because we always get this question from customers wanting to upgrade;
EXAMPLE: "If I upgrade from A329S to T430 or T330, can I use my existing remote cameras & cables?"

Did you check the very first RTC420 and RCC360 cameras, which operate using only a single A329S connector?
The new RTC420 and RCC360 cameras operate using both A329S connectors.

I’m only 90% sure I understand what you mean.
This is why I “Date Label” and photograph everything when delivered, (to aid in diagnosis).
According to photo in first post HERE RTC420 Telephoto was delivered with A329T 3CH June 9, 2025.
And RCC360 IR Interior was delivered (À La Carte) 2 weeks later June 23, 2025.
Zoom in on original photo in POST #1 to see.
I think we are closer to solving “compatibility mystery”.
Can you help me understand the remaining 10%?

I just checked, they do not.
What does this mean?
This means you have an older version of the RTC420 and RCC360 cameras.
The newer versions of the RTC420 and RCC360 cameras work with both outputs of the A329S. However, if you connect the RCC360 in place of the rear camera, the IR illumination will not work.

Not good.
This is going to produce frustrated / upset A329S customers who want to upgrade to T340 & T330.
I asked this question in my VIOFO T340 4CH - Q&A THREAD

Q: Are all Remote Cameras from A329S compatible with T330 & T340?
1.) Rear Camera
2.) Waterproof Rear Camera
3.) IR Interior Camera
4.) Telephoto Camera
A: VIOFO replied YES

Q: What are we supposed to tell customers who ask if their A329S Remote Cameras will work with T340 & T330?

Q: How do we determine if they have “older” or “newer” version of RTC420 Telephoto and RCC360 IR Interior?

To determine whether you have the "old" or "new" version of the RTC420 Telephoto and RCC360 IR Interior cameras,
try connecting them to the rear camera port on the A329S.
If the RTC420 and RCC360 work, it is the new version; if not, it is the old version.

My quest for 100% modularity & compatibility never ends.

The cabin camera can be used with the rear port on A329S, but fisheye mode cannot be enabled due to the hardware issue.

Yes, but I'm talking "big picture".
Why do we have 8 different CPL Filters?
Why do we have mishmash of Type-C, 3.5mm TRRS, MMCX, MCX remote camera cables?
Why do we have a different TEXT STAMP for each model?
Why are camera firmware names not standardized?
Every year / every model feels like a "unique design".
We need a 20 year modular platform like Ford (1992-2012) & Toyota (1985-2005) used, (and other car brands too).
