I have a new T5E camera that just arrived yesterday, I set it up as I wanted it and it seems to have the latest firmware as it retains all the settings.

Got something strange now though, in the top RH corner of the LCD screen there is a Hand symbol (like a Stop warning) which I am not sure what it means, can anyone help?

Also, when I playback the recordings they all have small flashing blue artefacts in the video, like you see with over exposure on soem SLR cameras, how do I stop this?

The hand that you see in LCD means that the EIS is on.

EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization): This feature only works up to 1080p resolution and max. 60 fps.

If you disable the EIS or change the video resolution to for eg. 4k it will disappear.
