From the information I have the T800 will be released in June, with special discounts available at launch via Kickstarter for the premium set.
It has 2x 4K cameras front and back using the Sony imx678 sensor and an internal third camera with IR LEDs and the Sony imx662 sensor.

The A810 Plus will not be released outside of China, contrary to incorrect information shared in other threads on this site.

The T800 is the global version of the A810 Plus as implied and maintained in other threads on this site.

I asked 70mai about the two cameras.
Here is their response:

"Actually, the A810Plus and the T800 are not the same model. While the two products may share some specifications and design elements, the T800 has been specially adapted with feature adjustments to better suit the needs of the overseas market."

Based on that reply they are not the same.

The specifications of these cameras aren't the same either.
The A810plus doesn't support a rear camera with a resolution of 4K.

Stating they are the same is rubbish.

There are two variants of the T800, one has the same IMX662 as the A810 Plus. So yes they are the same dimensions in the same shell.

So technically yes the T800 is the global version of the A810 Plus but with an increased resolution option of a 4K rear camera. Which 70mai's reply just backed up what I said. If you actually know anything about how global phone releases work, it is the same operation where a particular phone may either be exactly the same or with some adjustments in specs (in the exact same dimensional shell) for the global market.

What's the advantage of the internal camera? I don't really think I need it (not driving uber, no family in back) but want the 4k rear and super capacitor battery. Would the interior camera help to catch impacts or crashes to the side of the car?

Any idea if I could turn it off or if it's built into the camera housing. Thanks

I had a case where the interior camera was able to capture a very close call (less than 5cm space until contact) that the front and rear camera could not capture.
It's a rare occurrence but if something like this happens you are happy to have it.

I think and hope that they would allow you to turn it off. Nearly every other dashcam with an interior camera allows you to disable them.

Oh that would be a great. A way to deactivate the interior or have it on privacy mode except for when in parking. If that's the case I'd probably get this cam

The internal camera of 810p can see the situation on both sides and behind, and can also be turned off separately. However, the angle that the camera can adjust is very small, and it cannot face the roof of the car like the Viofo to avoid embarrassment
 
so 70mai just sell a810plus inchina
and sell t800 again?
