Hi - newbie here so hello!

I recently put a thinkware F750 into my wifes car and been very impressed with it - one thing I thought that with having a rear cam can this also be wired into a small monitor to use as a reversing aid cam?

apologies if been discussed - i did take a look but couldn`t see anything

Thanks

I'd like to know if the existing rearview cam for my Pioneer head unit could be put on a Y splitter and connected to a dual-cam DVR as well. The Pioneer has a full time rear-view option as well as "back-up", so the camera has full time power when the ignition is on.

a dual cam DVR would likely have a better rear cam option than your reverse cam
Routing the cable for the rearview cam was like passing a kidney stone. It's a pickup truck so a rear window mount has a very restricted view so the cam is at the rear bumper. It may not be the best but would it work on a Y splitter with a dual cam DVR, i'e', without electronics to amplify the vid signal?
