does anyone know who makes this for Toyota? They don't offer any details other than the basic marketing language features.

This guy got one installed on his RAV4 and he says it's not very good. For example:

• Cannot read a licence plate when 4 ft away.
• Poor night time visibility!
• Dark video when cloudy.

Toyota Genuine Dashcam

Bought this dashcam 6 months ago and am not 100% satisfied! Cannot read a licence plate when 4 ft away. Poor night time visibility! Dark video when cloudy. Can somone suggest what I should do? Or point me in the direction where I should post. I'm sure this can't be normal for a $500 dashcam?

I can see that. A licence plate 4 feet away from the camera would be well below the hood, in fact it may well be in contact with the front bumper. I like the design of the camera though.

I have a 2022 Tundra with a Toyota Integrated Dashcam and having terrible problems with it. I was able to find the brand name is MULTID CAM. Hope this helps you.
