Triggering Yi lite with HDMI PWM signal?

I am trying to see how to trigger the Yi Lite camera using the HDMI connection and using PWM signal. This would be controlled by Mission Planner so that I can take pictures while flying my drone. Do you guys know if it is possible? Thanks.

I haven't got mine yet (should be here this afternoon), but if my reading was correct there isn't an HDMI connector on the Yi Lite.
