Trim ring removal

Does anyone have the instructions for removing just the chrome trim ring on the camera?

not on this model. But i prefer permanent black pens, or black tape.
If you try spray paint, use duct tape to put a mask first, sand the ring (perhaps this is enough to remove the shiny surface, but primes the surface).
And eventually take the spray can.

I haven't tried removing the ring, but black electrical tape might be a good way to go.

Thank you all. For the time being I will leave it as is. Once I figure out detailed instructions to remove it I will, then spray it matte black as I did with by Blackvue 500.
