These two things happened within five minutes of each other.
Two cars enter an intersection on yellow with a cop in the intersection waiting to turn left. Everything I can find seems to indicate this is legal here. I don't know if I would chance getting a ticket doing what those two cars did. At the end of the day it's the cop's word against your word and their word is heavily favored in the US.
I'm just wondering why the guy didn't turn into the parking lot to turn around. The only reason I can come up with is he would rather inconvenience other people than himself.
