Morning All,
I'm just about to install a U1000 hardwire kit and I'm having trouble finding Fuse Taps.
Do they have a different name here in the UK?
Also, the installation will be on a 2017 Mercedes E220d, so if anyone knows where I can get them and which size I need, I'd appreciate the advice.
Thanks!

'Add a link', 'Add a fuse' and 'add a circuit' are a few of other names in the UK. From our records most Mercedes use the FU35 version this seller is nothing to do with us but it looks good. The 'Add a link' list is something we are building up ourselves with feedback from engineers, i would recommend double checking first.

We put 5amp fuses in them.

i had the same car as you : piggy-back them on the cigarette fuse in the trunk

Blue fuse no's: 455, 456, 457 switch off when car off (signalling to the camera to go into park mode)
there are 2 (for front & rear lighter) or 3 if you also have a connection in the trunk

but can't remember which fuse stays on (which you need for park mode if you don't use a battery pack)

When you look for it, remember that most fuses stay on for several minutes after you have switched off the car.
so: lock car with trunk open . wait a while and then search for live fuses

( I now have a battery pack so only hooked to the blue fuses: battery charges during drive, no charge when off)

Thank you Gentlemen.

Looks like a fair bit of time with the meter needed to find the right candidates.
