U1000 recording

Hi peeps, my u1000 records on continuous mode but when I try and playback certain clips the clip starts then stops as it only has recorded 2 seconds as opposed to the 1 minute it supposed to, any idea why it's doing this as I need it to always record the full 1 minute that it states it will in the instructions, also while driving I get a beep from the unit randomly even when flipping my sun visor up or going over a pit hole or speed bump even at slow speeds, 8s it something to do with low speed impact recordings as I havevtried setting the sensitivity to both low and high and it still beeps

try any of below:

- are you sure it only recorded 2 seconds, or maybe your player can't handle the files ?
try a different player.
and/or install this codec pack: https://codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

- format the memory card.

- try a different memory card (smaller)

beeping is sort of normal yes. even on lowest setting, it will still register "events"
you can switch off sound though, but then you wo,'t get any messages anymore
