UNBOXING Future member of this great DashCam

T7 Shield is not recommended by VIOFO.
If you experience any malfunction, this will be the first issue to be corrected.

Good morning.

I’m providing an update on this matter, as it was something we still had pending.

Yesterday, I fully completed the installation of the A329S model.

I’ve continued using the same drive I used with my previous A329: the 1TB Samsung T7 SHIELD SSD.

I’ve used it for over two hours of normal recording and just over an hour in parking mode (High Bitrate 4K+2K+2K).

The results so far are perfect—not a single issue—and I used the original 1.8m Viofo cable.

If any problems arise with the SSD in the future, I’ll report them here.

I do have a question, though: in the past, I always used parking mode with both motion and impact detection enabled.

However, given the wide range of configuration options available now for parking mode, I’m not sure which setting is ideal.

I’m looking for the ideal balance between effective detection of significant events, recording quality sufficient to identify the party responsible (whether a person or a vehicle), and power consumption.

I don't mind if the battery drains completely—since I have the BP100+EP100 setup—but I would like to maximize runtime while maintaining reliable detection and identification capabilities.
