unbricking my ojocam mini 0801

hello guys, so my camera was acting up, would record a few times, wrong date and time, unable to set date and time.

so i upgraded firmware to 20140404
worked
for a few hours.

when i go through the process of using the OTG USB cable and DirectUSB i always get this message


Found 1 AMBA device!
Init DRAM failed 271.
AMBA_USB_Boot_Write: (0,0xc00fff00,0x99005544) failed!(-116)

is it safe to assume this pos is dead and its time to buy a blackvue or is there still a chance!?

where can i get a replacement battery?
im sure these have to be soldered in
