Unit wont boot!

Hi Guys,

I've already contacted blackvue directly regarding this so hopefully the unit is just replaced.

My unit last night prompted (The blackvue is now shutting down) While I was driving.. I use a power magic pro.. so I thought it might be playing up, Hooked the unit up directly to my 12v socket in the car... Nope! Still won't boot...

Then I thought I would try using my wifes unit she has the exact same model.. plugged it in and it booted up no problems! mine on the other hand still won't show any lights or boot up sounds..

Did my unit just randomly die? I've tried holding down the button on the side of the unit for more then 10 secs while plugging in the power but doesn't do anything..

Check it with a new SD card.. the one from your wife's car for example..

Tried that mate, Did nothing for me, tried swapping different cards all result in a dud unit just sitting there with no pretty lights flashing or any voice commands.. I spoke with Blackvue today who are sending me out a replacement
