USB Power Supply not working

hi guys, i have the 808 #26 camera which i intend to use as a dashcam. unfortunately i am having issues charging it from the external power supply and recording at the same time. when i plug in my power supply, the led turns yellow to indicate its charging. when i switch the camera on, the light flashes red and yellow but there is never any video that is captured!
i have tried the following 2 chargers, both have output of 5v, the first 1A, the 2nd 2A

Not familiar with this camera. If it's the same manufacturer as Mobius, you can check the Mobius thread for your answer.
 
There are many versions of the 808 and some of them have a poor reputation. None of them were meant for dashcam use but that is where Mobius got it's start so with the right version it should work reasonably well. You're still going to be better off with a purpose-built dash or action cam so that is the course I recommend.
