Yes, it is. When you close the door, the camera can feels shakiness, then g-sensor will be triggered.

Wi-Fi Station Mode doesn't appear to connecto to SSIDs with a space in them

That's strange cos I've updated to the latest version and again as soon as I enter the car or snaps a photo after closing my door
I'm assuming this locks the video right?
 
I love the Geofencing low power impact detection add on. Very nice

My next wish is to be able to drop parking recording down to 2k when in parking mode to save storage and power consumption.

So a little update or glitch here.
I changed my home address from regular GEOFENCING so it does not record to LOW power impact detection when i park at home.
So after i turn off the car it says parking mode on which you expect.
Now i exit the car and it think there is an impact so the red light comes on on the dashcam. I thought after a few mins it would turn off and go back to LOW power mode but after 10 mins without anymore impacts the light has stayed on.
Is this what is supposed to happen?

@joysleep - check your G-sensor sensitivity setting in parking mode.

I updated to the latest version, VIOFO_A329S_V2.2_260815, and I can report that the issue with G-sensor sensitivity in parking mode has been fixed.
At the "medium" sensitivity setting in the parking mode, the G-sensor doesn't trigger when opening the door or starting the engine.
If I slam the door hard, it might trigger—which is good, as it means G-sensor is working.
I plan to change the parking sensitivity to "High," and if it works as described above, I'll leave it at that setting.

(previously it would trigger with engine start regardless of the motion or impact sensitivity settings used in parking mode)

Check the LED indicator settings for Parking Mode.
You may have selected the "Power indicator only - ON" for Parking.

I thought that too but then I used the app to determine the power levels being drawn.
Ten mins later I can still see the power draw showing it's on low bit rate recording.
I'll need to do some further testing

Sometimes the BTR200 button wont connect at startup. First press is wake up and connect. Second press makes the recording. Or sometimes pressing WiFi on button on the side triggers emergency recording. Also connecting after Factory reset always gamble

Reset both the camera and Bluetooth button, then connect it again to have a try.
