V2 - Three years of service, now dead. =(

Sad day for me. After three lovely years of continuous service it looks like it has finally died.

The day time video recently had gone blurry and the night time grainy. While researching a possible fix, i.e. firmware upgrade from the one I did in 2016. It seems to have gone into a self inducing loop on the screen stating to format the card. Flashes the message then goes dark, no response to buttons except for the reset button, which has no positive effect.

Cannot format the card through the unit itself. And reformatting the card via the computer does nothing either...

Looks like I need to crack open the piggy bank to see how many pennies I have... =/

If the card cannot be formatted, this is a problem in the memory card.
Try to make low-level formatting in the digital camera, if the problem is not solved-the card replacement
