VACRON VVH-MDE09 - how do you update the firmware

Hi,

I have downloaded the latest firmware for the DVR - its a single folder with a number of files. Do I just dump the folder on the SD card and hope it updates? Do I just load the files on the SD card? Or do I do something else?

I have a problem where the unit thinks it's in a different timezone and the PC app says it is set up right so I am hoping that an update will fix it.

not familiar with what hardware they're using, must be something older going by the spec, is their something in the viewer software for this model to load the firmware perhaps?

No, I have searched the viewer but there is no reference. I have mailed Vacron support three times and not had a reply - Apparently their "excellent customer service" will respond to a support request within three days! All very frustrating

Not good, sorry I can't offer any more ideas, its not a product I've ever looked at before, going by the files in the update its nothing like anything else I've seen before either
