The N4 Pro S will also be released in June. The S1 Pro Max is expected to launch later this year, but I don’t have a confirmed release date yet. As for the E2 Pro, I haven’t heard of any plans to release it at this time.

Not quite . there are some slight differences in size as well. The N4 Pro S measures 131.9 × 58.5 × 44 mm, so it's not exactly the same as the N4 Pro.

The N4S is likely going to be the improved E3, just with a different design.

The Form factor is what makes me want a E2/E3 Pro. The « sausage » shape of the Nexus series is not very practical, I’d rather have the « tiny camera » shape of the Élément series 🙂

I actually like the form factor of the N4 Pro very much. Depending on the car it can be hidden extremely well.
I used a 90° angle to make the cable of the rear camera more compact.

What is great when providing many Form-factors is that it can please more people 🙂
I do not like the Nexus one as it doesn’t suit my car, and I’d rather have the Élément form-factor as it’s more suitable for my car. So having an updated E2 or E3 would be nice 🙂

I completely agree that the N series is for an amateur. And of course, a lot depends on the car in which it is installed.
Just yesterday I was driving with a friend, in whose car I personally installed the N5 and noticed that the N5 in his car is not visible from the outside, and it is also not conspicuous from any place in the car.
In one of my cars, you can install several Viofo and Vantrue models together and they will not be conspicuous, but you will not be able to install a Nexus series model in it beautifully. But in another car, where there is nothing on the windshield except for the rearview mirror, the Nexus series models look simply perfect.

Anyone in this forum using the LTE module in Canada ? I'm trying to figure out connectivity with Canadian carriers - probably Bell or Rogers. I see the LTE module comes with a Vantrue SIM but I don't know/understand how that would work or be compatible with a Canadian carrier and I see in the product literature that it tops out at 300MB after which the user has to get a new SIM. Any info on any of this from anyone with some experience on how to go about setting this up would be most appreciated

@Jeff_Vantrue Which of these two LTE 01 modules, in different packaging, would be better in the EU? I need it to work with the E360 in the EU.
I suspect that they both work globally and only the packaging differs, but one says "QC PASS E" and "Version 1", the other "QC PASS A" and "Model: VT-LTE New". Maybe one is for Europe, the other for the Americas?

Yes, you're correct. The "QC PASS E" module is designed for use in Europe, while the "QC PASS A" module is intended for the Americas.

Too long a cable may cause issues and interfere with the signal, so unfortunately we’re not considering an extension cable at this time.
