After about two months with the Vantrue N5S, I am ready to post my review. Featuring 4 lenses, this dashcam is one of the rarer ones.
The past few weeks, I paid attention to video clarity, app use, and overall reliability. I will cover everything from unboxing to final thoughts.

Unboxing and build quality
The N5S arrived neatly packaged. Inside the box, I found the main front/cabin camera and the rear/rear cabin camera, with a 20 ft cable, an 11.5 ft power cable, adhesive GPS mounts, a user guide, and cable clips. Build quality feels solid, the housing is robust plastic (no squeaks or rattles). The sliding bracket clicks firmly onto the mount, and the dashcam doesn’t feel loose. The cables are thick and well-insulated. Overall, the kit looks like a thoughtfully built 4-channel camera system. The front unit is on the bigger side. But depending on the mounting location, it will neatly hide behind the mirror. The optional suction cup mount does offer some additional angles.
There is one issue that I want to address. It has to do with the current design of the rear camera.
It does not allow enough up/down movement to mount it on the headliner or any other horizontal surface that isn't angled like a rear window.
The rear camera can't be aimed further down. Only up. Meanwhile, the rear cabin camera can't be aimed any further up if mounted on a horizontal surface.
Just for clarification, the camera will work just fine if it's mounted to the rear window.
This issue will likely only occur to a handful of people. But even then, it's worth reporting.
Daytime quality
The front camera delivers excellent clarity and detail in 2K resolution with natural colors and good dynamic range. Plate capture is good at city and highway speeds. The cabin camera provides very good detail with a wide FOV that captures the entire interior. The front cabin camera is very good and sharp. It might be one of the sharpest interior cameras I've seen yet. The rear cabin camera faces forward and also has great detail. Video transitions between bright and dark areas are smooth, without noticeable overexposure.
Nighttime quality
Night performance from the front camera is decent to see what's happening in low light conditions, showing minimal noise thanks to the IMX675 sensor. Since it only has WDR and no HDR, plate capture is nearly impossible. The cabin camera's IR LEDs work very well, providing a clear view of the cabin in pitch black, with facial details visible. The rear camera has HDR and is able to decently capture the action.
CPL
For optimal results from the front camera, a CPL filter is recommended to reduce glare, though it is advisable to test its effect carefully as it can sometimes reduce detail slightly in certain specific conditions.
Features and connectivity
The 5GHz Wi-Fi provides a fast connection to the Vantrue app, with good transfer speeds even for 4-channel footage. The app itself is stable, easy to navigate, and offers a smooth live view with straightforward file downloading. The buffered parking mode will require a 3-wire hardwire kit. GPS logging is accurate, providing reliable speed and location data. An optional 4G LTE module is available for cloud features like real-time notifications and remote live view. Voice control works well for commands such as "Take Photo" and "Turn on Wi-Fi" or even to turn on or off the screen.
Audio, heat and stability
The microphone quality is clear, picking up interior conversations well without excessive wind noise when windows are up. The camera does not run too hot during operation, and never became excessively hot even during long recordings in warm weather. Throughout testing, the N5S remained stable, with no reboots or crashes, and all recorded files were consistently intact. (High heat tests weren't possible because of colder temperatures outside)
