Thanks to Wendy and the Vantrue team for providing the model.

When uploading several photos at once, they came out sideways or upside down.
Although they are positioned correctly on the laptop.
 
i always resize using paint, not least from phones main 60 mpix sensor

Nice the N5 got a upgrade, i suppose this will keep it in the very top of best ride share system

If itā€™s similar to last year model (non-S), itā€™s not same cable if I remember correctly.

The N4 Pro S cable looks identical to the N5S but can't say for certain based on photo alone. I'd love to test this camera out if cabling is the same.

The cables to the rear cameras of the N4S and N4 Pro S are the same, as are the rear cameras. However, the cable to the rear camera of the N5S model is different and does not fit other models.

It looks the same and plugs in.. at least from the N4 Pro to N5 - but just didn't work. I assume it's the same for N4 Pro S and N5S.
 
The response from the representative of Vantrue to my question about the interchangeability of cables for the rear cameras:
"Only N4S and N4 Pro S use the same rear camera and cable.

Other models (S1 Pro Max, N5S) are not compatible".
 
The mount with GPS module is the same for the N5S, N4 Pro S and N4S models. šŸ‘

The rear camera in the package is wrapped in installation instructions.
If you connect the cable differently than in the picture, but turn the plug 180Ā°, the DVR will reboot.
At least that's how it is with me.

Post in thread 'Vantrue Nexus 5 4CH 2K / My introduction to the new model.'

Today, during the manipulations with DVRs, I mixed up the models and connected the N4 Pro to the cable with the rear camera from the N5
and it worked without problems in three-channel mode, as well as with its rear camera.
Conclusion: The cable and rear camera from N5 can be used with N4 Pro even without changing the settings in the DVR menu.

The N5S does not have HDR on the front camera. Therefore, the N5S has little chance of winning in night shooting against other models with HDR.
 
Really? That's too unfortunate. I thought the front camera was the same as the N4S
