【Easy Access & Wide Compatibility】With a native USB-C port and a 50 cm (19.7-inch) extension cable, this thermal imaging camera connects effortlessly to Android, iPhone (USB-C), and Windows devices. No registration, no hassle—simply plug it in and start analyzing. (Note: Temporarily not compatible with Mac.)

【From Micro-Detail to Medium Targets】The TS2 thermal imaging camera's 8 mm manual focus lens (40° × 30° field of view) covers close-up inspections and distant objects up to 10 m. With 15x digital zoom and a smooth 25 Hz refresh rate, you get sharp, real-time thermal images for electrical, mechanical, and building inspections—even for camping trips.

【512 × 384 Super Resolution for Fine Details】Utilizing advanced native IR resolution technology, this infrared camera upscales native 256 × 192 data to a crisp 512 × 384 resolution. With a highly sensitive sensor that detects temperature differences as small as 0.035 °C, it effortlessly identifies electrical leaks as low as 1 mA, overheated components, and minute electronic faults.

【Wide Measurement Range with Lab-Grade Precision】Covering a wide temperature range from -20 °C to 550 °C, it consistently delivers highly accurate readings (±2%). Powered by IQ+ precision technology, it adapts to environmental changes and offers adjustable ranges via the app for versatile applications—from household checks to industrial tasks—without the need for tedious manual calibration.

【Battery-Free & Energy Efficient】Designed for mobile use, this infrared camera is powered directly by your phone and consumes only 0.35W for 5–8 hours of continuous operation. The Vantrue Thermal app adds smart tools like high/low temperature alarms, picture-in-picture, and automatic hot spot tracking to instantly detect problems—even in complete darkness.

【Compact Design】Lightweight and portable, the thermal imaging camera measures 59 x 27 x 17.2 mm and weighs only 30g. Use the Vantrue Thermal app for seamless control of your device.

The camera arrived from Amazon, but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet...
The camera and app work fine with my smartphone, but it doesn't work with my laptop.
I haven't had time to figure this out. When I have time, I'll try to get everything sorted out.

Test photos taken with the app on my smartphone:

Your laptop isn't a MacBook, by chance? I think I read that it's not working with that, yet.
No. I have a simple laptop. Something went wrong during installation.
When I have time, I'll get around to it and get this camera working with it.

Mine is great so far. Comparing it with my expensive Seek Thermal and it seems better!

It seems to work only with the Vantrue provided cable. I picked up a few USB-C adapters and they don’t allow the camera to connect to my laptop computer. I’m guessing Vantrue is using the more obscure signal pins to carry the image data…

I had a problem installing the program from Vantrue for Windows.

Mine worked fine on a Win11 machine. Haven’t tried my Win10 machine yet…

If priced competitively, this could be a nice product. No different really to all the cheap Chinese manufacturers pushing out thermal cameras though.

The difference will be that you can buy it from a well-known brand that actually has support, unlike many of these cheap companies.
