Dash Cam
2xOpia 2 ex: Vico TF2/TF2+/SF2/Marcus 1/Marcus 3/Marcus 4
v 3.2G

Improvement:
1. Improve Image quality and reduce noise.
2. “1080p 60fps Smart Shutter Mode.” is ON by default.

Under 1080p 60fps (High-Speed Full HD) mode, when encountered
insufficient light (low light condition), Marcus 3 will auto detect and switch
into 1080p 30fps (1080p 30 frames per second) recording.
Recording at day and night time with sufficient incoming light, Marcus 3
provides smooth 1080p 60fps video. If it’s insufficient low light condition,
Marcus 3 will auto switch to 1080p 30fps. The slowest shutter speed
becomes 1/30s during 1080p 30fps, providing brighter image.

Thanks suawek, quick question; with the comparison image above what settings were used on each camera including resolution and framer rate?

In both cases 1080p 30 fps

The video quality seems to be about identical with the new firmware, cars straight in front are nice and sharp, but on the sides, license plates are still a bit blurry. I don't see much improvement in daytime driving. The only difference I noticed is that the video seems to be a lot darker now.

I made a new comparison with FW 3.2 for M3. Is better, but not better then LS430W. In both cases 1080p 30fps. Original pictures with full sizes are here:
