Final thoughts
Finally got a chance to review a VicoVation dashcam!

The videos from the OPIA1 offers more detail and better exposure if compared to the Viofo A119S which uses the same Sony Starvis IMX291 sensor due to the Opia1 using Novatek 96663 processor unlike the Novatek 96660 processor used on the Viofo A119S.

Wished I had the Vico Power Plus so that I can test the parking mode.

Opia1 it's one of the only devices that offers a swiveling mount, capacitor-based, WiFi connectivity, 1080p 60fps recording, and automatic parking mode.

After looking around in the polish dashcam forum I stumbled upon a teardown picture. It appears that the Opia 1 is still using a Novatek 96660 processor [96660BG-H to be more precise]:

Impacting image quality there is also the question of bit rate. From the same topic in the following posts, it appears that the Opia 1 has a higher bit rate for the 1080p 30fps setting compared to the Viofo but a lower bit rate when it comes to the 1080p 60fps setting

there's no advantage to be had if they used the 96663 for a single channel application anyway, looks like they have changed factories again though for whatever reason
