Has anyone found a suitable cable?

I found one at a UK vendor, but they are out of stock:

(see http://www.buycleverstuff.co.uk/pure-video-out-cable-sirocco-150-4803-p.asp)

The other is from a US dealer (and in stock):

(see http://www.bulls-ivehicledriverecorders.com/82extendedvideooutcable.aspx)

Note that the black ends of the cables are different (compare the UK picture to the US picture). The UK black plug has two distinct contacts (one black ring insulator) and the US black plug has three distinct contacts (two black ring insulators).

I assume that either would work, but does anyone have actual experience?

The Itronics video cable needs just two wires, so the first cable is OK because the jack connector have two contacts.
You can use also an AV (audio-video) cable which have the jack with 3 contacts, but the recommended is the one with two.

No matter what cable you will buy, not needed to be special, find a cheaper one and just cut it if is not working by default. After you will cut the cable inverse the wires until you will have video on your display.

For my Itronics I used some AV cable which I found at home because I have few and modified it. Not all AV cables are the same pinout so because of this you can finish the job by cutting and soldering back the cable. I don't want to spend money on the cable because used very rare (until now just once when fixing the camera).

Thanks everybody for the suggestions!

I finally got a 1/8" (3.5mm) to RCA phono jack (RadioShack part 274-897)...

...to attach to an existing RCA video cable.

I then connected the ITB-100HD to a small video monitor, and it all worked. This will help to position the ITB-100HD properly. The mounting location is hard to get to, and difficult to adjust.

I think I got one of the last ITB-100HD units before apple-ct got shut down.

Just great!
I think this is the best solution because almost all people have some RCA cable at home.

enjoy,
Mtz
