Viofo A118C: cannot turn off boot sound

Is there any way to turn off boot up sound on Gearbest sourced "genuine" Viofo A118C?
I turned off the beeps, which theoretically should turn off the boot sound (no luck).

Next step for me is to cut the speaker wire.
 
As we are working on the firmware now, maybe we can think about to turn the boot sound if the beep option is off?
