This version objected to my sd card. I bought a new sd card at the suggestion of the support team, a "max endurance" one. Old one I used flawlessly with last firmware and nowadays in another "rear" camera too. In my opinion this firmware puts much more stress on the card which is not so good for the sd life cycle. This firmware also has a bug because after more than 30 minutes of recording during my daily commute it says "recording started". I have already HK4 Hardwire Kit. I can't wait for the new official firmware.

I tested this option with a recording interval of 1 min. The last 5 files are saved, and the files are summed up for the Movie and Parking folders. (The parking mode was set to record with a low bit rate).
There was no memory card error.

Different sd cards were tried. The camera was reset and reset to factory settings. The warning in the video appears.

Since this mode only saves the last 5 videos, when you turn it on, you are prompted to format the memory card.

Not sure what's wrong but the dash cam kept on shouting "Recording Started" every 30s after using it for 1 week. Was using "Auto Event Detection" for Parking Mode as well. Will try latest beta. Worst case, I go back to low bitrate recording.

Edit: Just tried the September beta. It shouted "Recording started" 4 times in 10 minutes. My friend suggested doing a manual reset after flashing the latest firmware so let's see if that works.

@viofo Can you transfer new algoritm of file naming while loop recording (file name consists date/time and sequence number of file instead of only date/time) from A329 Pro to A119 MINI 2 (and A229 Pro)?

I successfully installed the new firmware V2.1.20241010, reset the camera and then made my settings again. Everything worked fine, except I can't find the place in the app to use "private mode". Does anyone have a tip/screenshot for me?

Look for this feature in the menu or wait for the app to be updated.
 
VIOFO support told me today that you shouldn't look in the APP for the "Privacy Mode" but only in the DC menu.
Nothing was reported about an APP update
