VIOFO A119M Pro_Video and Screenshots

I've not had any problems with SD cards from any of these three brands.
I ended up buying the Sandisk Max 256gb, I was swayed a little by the long warranty and also reliable performance in the past with other Sandisk cards I own.

My A119M Pro is installed and the general picture quality is good. Number plates of vehicles travelling the same direction as me are readable, vehicles travelling in the opposite direction are unreadable day or night. Testing has been using 4K 30fps.

I’m running that same card in my Viofo A139 Pro dual channel camera. No issues for the past two years. The tragedy is that 2 years ago, that same card cost only $45.

Will is work with USB-c to USB-c cord? I see it comes with A to C. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I have a lot of long C to C cords.
Be aware that long cords can be problematic for dashcams. For USB flash drives and other more "ordinary" kinds of things (transmitting data), a long USB-C is fine. But dashcams have very specific power draw specifications and want to pull 1.5A or more through that cable. If you have a generic USB-C cable, it likely has VERY thin power cables (like 24g or thinner). Thin cables will typically not be able to carry the amount of current your camera needs and the voltage level will droop, causing random power supply issues for your camera. This will most likely result in power cycling. A good DASHCAM-DEDICATED USB-C cable will use 20g or even 18g wire for the power supply so the voltage level will not droop under the load of the camera.

Thanks. I have a lot of long Ugreen 240w c to c cables. I have run them at 170w at 7.5A for a few hours with no issues. I sure hope the Pro doesn't pull anything close to that. I will find out in a few days when I receive mine.

You should be in good shape, power-wise, then.

The Viofo looks better to me, don’t like the motion trails on the Vueroid footage.

Reply Function Not Working.

1.) I thought @Mtz said we’re not supposed to use HDR in Parking Mode, only use HDR in Driving Mode when headlights are illuminated?

2.) Is Vueroid PNV the “equivalent” of Viofo SNV?

3.) Does PNV have audio?

I want to say right away that this was not a special comparison of parking modes, it’s just that yesterday,
while looking through saved videos, I saw these and decided to make a comparison.
1.) I thought @Mtz said we’re not supposed to use HDR in Parking Mode, only use HDR in Driving Mode when headlights are illuminated?
As far as I remember, my HDR is also turned off in parking mode. It just happened to be on here.

I haven't done a specific comparison yet, but each parking mode is good in its own way.
For me personally, 1 fps in SNV mode on the Viofo isn't enough; I need at least 10 fps. The lack of audio recording is also annoying.
That's why I use LBR on Viofo models.

Vueroid records at 30 fps in PNV mode, using the bitrate set in the dashcam menu. Audio is also recorded in this mode.

You can say that again, Parking Mode without audio is only "half" the evidence, (I want video & audio).
As far as 1fps, I think @Nigel proved somewhere it will be insufficient to capture detail of a person at walking speed, or a vehicle at "parking lot" speed.
