VIOFO A129 DUO Questions

Hello everyone, I am new to dash cams and looking to buy one. I just have some questions to double check my research data.

1. How is the A129 DUO better than the Mini 0906 and why?
2. How reliable is the A129 with weather and gps-speed stamping? I live in the northeast so the weather can be very bi-polar. I really need the speed stamping to be working and not die on me after 2 months etc because my car is a cop magnet (red sports car) so I really need it as proof if I get pulled over.
3. What is the A129 video quality day and night? Is it good on catching license plates when in motion for both day-night or just day time?
4. Will the parking mode be good enough on catching who hit my car if I'm parked? Like seeing a face or license plate before they do a hit n run on me.
