I upgraded to version 2.1 and am a bit stumped. So I tried two things both unsucessful
1. Connected camera successfully in station mode to my phone (turned on hotspot) as a hotspot. Phone assigned camera a damn internal (192.168.43.133).
2. Once connected, I could navigate to http://192.168.43.133 and was able to view files
3. Tried to open VLC to view camera in live mode. I tried from both WITHIN and OUTSIDE the hotspot network via VLC. Neither worked.
rtsp://realip and rtsp://192.168.43.133 and neither worked.
rtsp://realip from outside network and rtsp://192.168.43.133 from within
ERROR:
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://192.168.43.133/'. Check the log for details.
Connection failed:
VLC could not connect to "192.168.43.133:554".
I then attempted to connect my phone to the A129 Duo running it as an AP. Disabling station mode.
Attempted to connect to VLC with rtsp://192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.254 and again no luck.
Any suggestions?
