Viofo A139 3ch not connecting to other 2 channels.

I tried the included 12V car adapter with all 3 channels plugged in and the camera didn't get stuck in a boot loop but still only recognized 1 channel. I also noticed that the A139 had a burning smell as if a fuse or cap had blown. Think this may just be a dud.

They don't normally smell much, although sometimes there is a smell of new plastic when they first come out of the box. First time I have heard of a burning smell.

I think it is best to return the whole thing since it is likely to be a power supply issue, so could be caused by the 12V car adaptor, or the main unit, and could possibly have damaged the rear/internal cameras.

If you got it direct from Viofo then contact them first, if it is from Amazon then just go through the returns process.
